Welcome to the Digital Media in Education blog.

My name is Colin Rhinesmith. I'm a graduate student and research assistant in Media Arts at Emerson College and Digital Media Producer for the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard Law School. I also serve on the Board of Directors for ACME.

On this blog, I will be sharing my thoughts and research on educational uses of digital media. I hope to cover a wide range of topics including uses of social software in the classroom and issues related to copyright challenges facing teachers and students in the digital age.
